I am Felipe Pérez, mathematician and data scientist. I currently work for Topsort as a Senior Data Scientist. Previously I worked at Walmart Chile as a Data Scientist. Currently I am interested in all the aspects of data applications, from building data models to deploying the infra needed to run these in production settings.
During my academic years, I did my PhD at the University of Bristol under the supervision of Thomas Jordan. My main interests were Ergodic Theory and its relationship with Dimension Theory. I did my undergraduate and masters degree at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile under the supervision of Godofredo Iommi. During the (calendar) year 2019 I visited Professor Matt Nicol at the University of Houston, Texas.
